Advanced level cooking classes are for the Home Chef extraordinaire. These bootcamp classes involve complex cooking skills including fruit and vegetable carving, international cuisine flavoring and intricate baking and pastry projects. You can choose from classes such as Surf ‘n’ Turf, Sophisticated Sauces and Whole Grains. Basic knife skills are required.

  • Chocolates, Truffles, and Candies

    Chocolate is one of those little indulgences you love to love. Whether it's a holiday, party, birthday or apology, chocolates can be the difference between boring and exciting. In this class you'll learn the techniques to make a whole goodie bag out of chocolate, and then you’ll fill it with a mixture of smaller, luscious chocolates of various styles and flavors. If you thought chocolate ended at milk and dark, get ready for ganache, truffles, rochees and quite the array of production methods. Experiment with the techniques used by chocolatiers all over the world and learn to do it all at home.

  • Advanced Baking and Pastry Techniques: Multi-day Boot Camp

    Take your intermediate baking and pastry techniques to the next level with the Home Chef Baking and Pastry Advanced Boot Camp. Success in pastry making depends on both a mastery of techniques and a highly creative mind. So kick your pastry skills up a notch and get your hands dirty with flour, chocolate and sugar while Kendall faculty pastry chefs show you how to whip, beat and stir up some delicious treats. This fun, yet intense course will help you capture the fundamentals of pastry and the techniques used in creating beyond basic preparations. Practice the fine points of layered, sponge and rolled cakes, tortes, delicate genoise, mousses, bavarians, buttercreams, pie pastries, tart shells, cream puffs and more. THIS CLASS ALSO INCLUDES: Continential Breakfast and Boxed Lunch
