School of Hospitality Management
John Laloganes earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin–Stout and completed a Master’s Degree in Vocational Education in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Laloganes, a sommelier, has authored the book, Essentials of Wine with Food Pairing Techniques. His latest book, The Beverage Manager's Guide to Wines, Beers and Spirits was released in January 2012 and awarded the “Best Wine Book for Professionals in the United States” in 2013 by the Gourmand International Book Awards.
Chef Thomas Meyer
School of Culinary Arts
Chef Thomas Meyer's twenty plus years of foodservice experience includes executive and leadership positions at Omni Orrington Hotel, Royal Melbourne Hotel, The American Club, as well as for Crate and Barrel Company. Prior to Kendall, he was the Executive Chef of Don's Finest Foods, an Exclusive gourmet store and caterer of Lake Forest. Chef Meyer holds certificates from Harper College, and the Richmont Craft School of Lucerne, Switzerland. Chef Meyer has continued his personal and professional education by attending culinary schools in Chicago and Oaxaca, Mexico, which has enhanced his culinary profile.
International School of Business
Rob holds a B.S. in Management as well as an MBA in Marketing from Florida A&M University and has been a professor at Kendall for over two years. Working for both entertainment and music publishing firms as well as the worlds largest medical technology company, Rob has over 9 years experience in marketing and product management.
Dr. Paul Busceni
School of Early Childhood Education
Dr. Paul T. Busceni joined Kendall College as dean of the School of Education in 2007. As both teacher and administrator of K-12 throughout his 16-year career, one of his continued goals has been to inspire teachers and engage learners. Paul graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1991 with a B.S. in Economics. He attended Roosevelt University for graduate school and received an M.A. in 1996 and a doctorate in 2000 in Educational Leadership and Organizational Change.

Student Lounge Area
Our student lounge is a place for you to relax between classes, play some pool or workout in our on-campus gym. Many student life events are hosted here including ping pong tournaments, birthday parties and live streaming of large sporting events throughout the year.
The Daily Grind Coffee Shop
Kendall's coffee shop is located in our lobby and is run by students. The Daily Grind serves specialty coffees and pastries made by our very own Baking and Pastry students. Each week you will find a new featured beverage created by the Daily Grind Baristas.
The Kendall College Café
The Café is where you will enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared and served by culinary arts students. This dining option features different stations including The Grill, a Salad Bar, a Pizza Oven and Main Dishes that change daily.
Hyatt Suite - A Living Hospitality Management Classroom
The Hyatt Suite was donated to Kendall to provide students with a living classroom. During the Hospitality Management program, students spend an intensive one-week module utilizing this unique teaching suite to learn the basics of hotel housekeeping.
